Tuition Policy

With May tuition due right around the corner (May 4th-9th) I thought I'd take a moment to reiterate CBC's tuition policies. I've gotten some questions recently and I want to clarify a few points:

1. Tuition is due the first class of the month. Tuition paid after the first week of class will be considered late.

2. A late fee of $10 will be charged to late payments not discussed with the registrar.

3. We accept: cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard.
(We prefer cash or check. We are charged a percentage of the sale each time we process a credit card. Please include your child's first and last name as well as the month you are paying for in the memo line of your checks.)

4. Payments can be made in person, over the phone (credit card) or mailed in (checks only).

I hope that helps! I encourage you to post further questions--if you aren't sure about something, chances are another parent feels the same way!

Recital Ticket Correction

We found an error in our spring newsletter. We stated that spring recital tickets were $7; they are in fact $8. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Summer Schedule

Our summer class intensive schedule is available! Click on the link "Summer Schedule-New!!" to view/download a pdf of our brochure. To receive a hard copy of our brochure, call our offices at (952) 563-8562.

The Beginning Pointe class is for students with less than 3 years experience on pointe. The class is also appropriate for students with no pointe experience who have taken ballet for at least a year and are over 10 years old. This class will be taught primarily by CBC's artistic director Riet Velthuisen.

Students in our Advanced Class are expected to have over 3 years experience on pointe, or obtain director's approval to enroll. To request approval from the director, please call (952) 563-8562 or email cbcinfo@continentalballet.com .

Evening Teen/Adult Ballet classes are designed for students of ballet who are looking to learn classical ballet or improve their overall dance technique. The class is structured to be challenging for students with various levels of experience.

We encourage dance team memebers, gymnasts, musical theater dancers, etc. to consider honing their technical skills over the summer with our summer intensives.

Spring Recital

It's that time of year again--the grass is greening, the birds are chirping and the sun is shining! (Well, sometimes...) But most importantly, it's time for CBC's annual Spring Recital!

Every year, CBC showcases our students in a short-and-sweet evening performance. Tickets for this year's performance went on sale April 20th and will be available through the day of the show.
